No adult content I would like to try to keep this group PG-13, so that it's open to all ages. :3 Submitting stamps If you're going to submit a stamp to our gallery please make sure you submit it to the right folder. Let's try to keep the gallery neat and organized~ Please do not take offense if your stamp is not accepted. --------------------- If you're a little lost...  How do I join?Just click the "Join our Group" button found at the top of the page. Feel free to join even if you don't create stamps, but just like to collect them! What are stamps used for?Stamps are little images you use to display your interests. You can use them in journals, a custom box or put them in your DeviantID. How exactly do I use stamps?You simply copy the thumb code from the stamps page, and paste it where you want the stamp to show up at. The thumb code can be found on the right of the page under "Details", and should look like this: :thumb000000000: (I filled it with zero's just to give you an example of where the numbers will be. The numbers all differ of course.) How do I make my own stamp?You can start by downloading a stamp template. There are some really good ones here on DA, and a lot of them are included in the folder in our gallery named "Stamp Templates". The best format for a stamp template is PSD, just make sure the program you're using supports that file type, so that you can open it up in layers (another good format is PNG, which is supported by almost all programs, if not all). One thing you want to make sure of is that your image you would like to feature in the stamp is in the middle, and not going out on the edges of the stamp. For the stamps that I make I usually make a black square that fills the empty middle area, and use clipping mask to get the image in the middle without it going out on the edges. I find that to be the easiest way. What should I submit?Any type of stamp is allowed just as long as it's Asian themed, and has a stamp border. Stamps that are just a rectangular image are not allowed. How come I can't find a folder for my favorite anime/artist/video game/etc?Well, we don't have a folder for everything (and it isn't possible to have one for everything. D; Damn limits...), so if you're looking for something, but can't seem to find a folder specifically for it try one of the category folders such as: 'Music', 'Anime and Manga', 'Video Games', etc, etc. If you still can't find it then maybe there isn't any stamps of that specific thing you're looking for, or we just don't have any in our gallery. And if you were trying to submit a stamp of something, but there wasn't an existing folder for it, why not suggest we add one? --------------------- Contributors You have to be active. All submitted deviations must be stamps, and must be Asian-themed. Please submit your art to the right folder. |
